The Aldermen of Darwin City Council have a very strange idea of marketing. They apparently think that buses, bunting, promotions and publicity just happen naturally if just sit back and do nothing. They abolished the CBD marketing levy, which killed off the old city promotional effort, funded the Darwin Does It For Me promotion, but grudgingly and in fits and starts for 15 months. Now, in a real Groundhog Day scenario, they have formed another committee.
